Mortgage Registration

Any mortgage of an aircraft registered in the Cayman Islands register may be entered in the Register of Aircraft Mortgages kept by the Authority.

Applications to enter a mortgage in the Register may be made to the Authority by or on behalf of the mortgagee in the form set out in Part I, and shall be accompanied by a certified true copy of the mortgage and accompanied by the mortgage registration fee. The fee varies with the sum of the mortgage and may be calculated in accordance with Article 10(2) of the Air Navigation Fee Schedule.
