Finance & Compliance
The Finance and Compliance Division within the CAACI is primarily responsible for ensuring prudent financial management of the Authority and that best practice compliance and anti-money laundering principles are applied to due diligence processes for the acceptance and retention of reputable clientele.
This Division is headed up by Director of Finance and Compliance Jane Panton and assisted by Accounts Officer, Joni Wood.
The Finance function of this department is responsible for rendering all invoices for all services performed within the CAACI. Regulatory and Service fees are based on The Air Navigation (Fees) Regulations, 2006. Most regularly occurring Aircraft Registry fees are summarised in the following Fees Summary. Typical fees incurred when registering an aircraft are further summarised in the following schedule.
All Invoices rendered by the CAACI should be settled within 30 days of the date of the invoice and can be settled through several payment methods.
The Compliance function of this department is to conduct due diligence on clientele of the CAACI Registry in compliance with International Anti-Money Laundering Regulations. Each new aircraft registration application must be accompanied by due diligence documents. These documents are detailed in the Due Diligence Checklist and are summarised as follows:

- Aircraft Registration Application - this document can be faxed or e-mailed to initiate a billing for the 50% deposit fee
- Company Certificate of Incorporation
- Register of Members, Directors (beneficial owners)
- Overview of Company Activities
- Declaration of aircraft operation: Main base of Aircraft and Geographical Areas and Statement confirming "Private Category" operation
- Notarized Copies of Passports of beneficial owners, directors. Etc
- Power of Attorney for person organizing regitration (if not beneficial owner or company official)
- Initial survey schedule
- 50% Deposit fee (to be billed by CAA)
