The Civil Aviation Authority of the Cayman Islands provides the Meteorological Service with safety oversight to ensure regulatory compliance.
Compliance is assessed during annual audits carried out by the CAA. The CAA use a regulatory checklist for carrying out inspections. Various aspects of the Meteorological service are inspected, including but not limited to, meteorological equipment, weather reports disseminated, services offered, meteorological observations etc.
