Radio Installation Approval

The Air Navigation Overseas Territories Order mandates that the radio and radio navigation equipment meets the minimum requirements detailed in Schedule 5 of the order. On initial issue of the Cayman certificate of airworthiness, the required radio equipment is confirmed and an approval is issued. Changes to the aircraft radio equipment will require an amended Radio Installation Approval document to be issued.
