The Finance and Compliance Department is headed up by Jane Panton. Jane is a Certified Public Accountant and graduated from University of South Florida with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and a concentration in Accounting.

She began her career with Peat Marwick Mitchell, Cayman Islands (now KPMG) and worked her way up to Assistant Manager in the Corporate Department.

At KPMG she was responsible for overseeing the provision of accounting and administration services to client companies and investment funds managed by KPMG’s then corporate department.

After 11 years at KPMG, Jane moved to Texaco Caribbean Inc. as Manager of Finance and Administration for the company’s Cayman Islands operations. Her new role involved the establishment of an accounting department and the appropriate systems, procedures and software to provide a full accounting and reporting function in house which was previously performed by the Jamaica office. Jane decided to pursue her own interests after 4 years with Texaco and started her own business providing accounting, consulting and director services for companies and trusts.

In 2007 Jane was recruited to lead the Finance and Compliance department here at CAACI. In addition to the provision of required financial reporting to the Cayman Islands Government and the CAACI Board of Directors and senior management, Jane supervises and maintains the full financial and compliance operations of the CAACI.

Her role includes providing the senior team at the CAACI with compliance verification, monitoring and the implementation of best practices to protect and ensure a positive international reputation of the Cayman Islands Aircraft Registry.
