EXEMPTION UNCERTIFICATED AERODROMES – Little Cayman

The Governor in exercise of his powers under Article 10 of the Air Navigation (Overseas Territories) Order 2013 (“the Order”) hereby exempts any DHC-6-300 for the time being operated by Cayman Airways Express from the provisions of Article 156(1) of the Order.

The Advance Passenger Information Law, 2018 facilitates the provision of advance passenger information (API) relating to passengers and crew members of an aircraft or maritime vessel and makes provision for the sharing of that information with other partner jurisdictions for the purpose of enhancing border security.

AIRBORNE COLLISION AVOIDANCE SYSTEM (ACAS II)

All turbine-engined aeroplanes of a maximum certificated take-off mass (TOM) in excess of 5,700 kg, or authorized to carry more than 19 passengers, shall be equipped with an airborne collision avoidance system (ACAS II) in accordance with the provision of ICAO Annex 6 Part 1, ICAO Annex 10 Volume 4 and OTAR Part 135.785 and 121.785.
