Joni Wood is the Director of Finance & Compliance at the Civil Aviation Authority of the Cayman Islands (CAACI), where she oversees financial management and regulatory compliance supporting the Cayman Islands Aircraft Registry. She and her team serve as the first point of contact for the Registry, coordinating inquiries and assisting clients with both aircraft registration and the mortgaging of aircraft on the Cayman Islands Aircraft Register.

Joni began her career with the Authority in August 2004 as an Accounts Officer and has since progressed through several roles, including Accounts Supervisor, before assuming her current leadership position. Over the course of her tenure, she has developed extensive experience in aviation finance, regulatory processes, and client support related to aircraft registration and mortgage filings.

During her time with the Authority, Joni completed a Bachelor of Science in Finance and pursued the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) qualification, strengthening her expertise in financial governance and compliance. With more than two decades of experience at CAACI, she plays an important role in supporting the operational integrity and international reputation of the Cayman Islands Aircraft Registry.
